A Joint Artistic Project by
Yamaha Music (Asia) Pte Ltd and Singapore Wind Symphony

The Singapore Ensemble Challenge aims to promote small ensemble performances.

Ensemble performances are more challenging than playing in a large group. There’s no one else to back you up ! Individual musicians will need to explore their individual strengths. Ensembles also require each musician to be more sensitive to the performance.

This event hopes

    * to provide an opportunity for participants to gain experience and exposure in ensemble performance;
    * to nurture and encourage good ensemble performance standards in Singapore;
    * to encourage the formation of small ensembles in Singapore;
    * to help discover local talents in the wind band music scene.
    * This event also presents an opportunity for fellow ensemble enthusiasts to meet and forge new friendships.

Up to $20,000 worth of prizes and vouchers to be won.
